Fantastic for me!!!

Very simple and easy to use.

Very Good

Very, Very Good

Excellent app

I really liked this app, this is my first time trying an English Course Online! I recommend it!

Great job just one thing

I love the app but the only thing I am frustrated with is you have to pay 11.99 for 1 month I think you need to reduce to free or 5.00 dollars a month.Gracias amigos!

Love the process of learning through Babbel

I use both the web and the mobile version. Love how it syncs effortlessly. Only con is the lack of slowing down a phrase so that you can hear better.

Its ok

It is a good app but nothing to rave about.

I had a dream in portuguese

Ive been learning so much from my babbel course I just had a dream in Portuguese. I work with a lot of Portuguese people and Ive been understanding way more at work too. Great app.

Great!

I love that, is amazing, you learn and share, meet peoples and learn more language talking with others. I recommend .

Works

Self paced, easy to navigate. Good program.

Very good app

Very well thought out. Learning Spanish is easy andfun with this app. Only a month in and loving it.

Perfect

I could not imagine it was so easy and fun learning a new language on an iPhone app like that, Im learning russian right now and its totally worth it.

Worth Buying

This app is excellent. The lessons are short and fun. Teaches you correct pronunciation. You can go back and repeat lessons if needed. imparare litaliano è meraviglioso

Uh....

I like how the app teaches you well but then you have to make a subscription witch I hate! I mean can you not just do something once thats non profit! So its really your choice me personally I have no clue.

Good

Its a good app, just which there were more languages (ex. Korean and Japanese) I am going to those countries soon and it wouldve been nice to learn the language through this app first. But all in all its good.

Good buuuut.....

Saw an ad on tv but it said nowhere in the ad that you had to pay. Really disappointing

Negative

Nice application but a long as we learn words we forget some others and the only revision tool is not wath we need. We should have a revision tool per categorie. Exemple : numbers, family, verbes revision, animals, food etc. Very desapointed i prefer duo lingo application for this reason.

Great tool to use.

Ive been using this app for French. And I am a huge fan. I have Rosetta Stone as well, and I find this tool to be more useful, more fun and more current for appropriateness. I have already been able to use what I learn at work. 5/5 would recommend this app to anyone.

I like it!

Despite some problems with the voice recognition of pronunciation it is a really great app! Ive been learning German and so far so good its awesome. Costly for an in-app purchase but then again a German course will cost probably more than 13$ so that shuts the price problem. Ill see where itll take me at the end...! Ps: if we could have Chinese and Japanese it will be the summit of it all! Danke :)

So far great!

Having an easy time learning through their system! I already understood a lot because my parents r Danish and spoke it all my life but I never spoke it .. Its now coming much easier for me ... Thanks!

my Kafkaesque experience with Babbel

While learning Polish with Babbel I encountered multiple problems, both regarding to the performance of this app itself and its customer service. First, when I repeat after the audio I always get it right even when I say something completely different; I checked the technical setting and tried speaking loudly and clearly none worked. It seems like this feature is a total joke. Second, there were some words that I spelled wrong in some lessons that never showed up in my review list; I had to restart all the lessons to recall which words I messed up. I felt as though the app wasnt serving me as a facilitator to help my learning process, but more of me as a user to help the app achieve what it is supposed to offer. The worst part of my experience goes to the unwonted auto renewal feature that apparently cannot be easily turned off in the app setting, and the customer service representatives impatient response to my corresponding issue. Since it wasnt a happy experience in the first month, I stopped using the app hoping that the subscription would expire itself. Later, when I was billed three times for my monthly subscriptions I contacted customer service to request for a refund for the most recent subscription cycle, and instead, the rep wrote back proudly declaring that Babbels autorenewal feature is stated in their terms and conditions if I read carefully. Lol. That, WITHOUT friendly offering to make a refund to my most recent subscription (automatically renewed within 24 hours I wrote my claim email), or even just saying "sorry to hear your experience". All in all, Babbel is definitely not one of those proactive companies, like Duolingo, who genuinely care about user experience enough to strive for revolutionizing the traditional ways of language acquisition. Babbel is only a follower and imitator of such which offers no better app experience and turns out rather exploiting both the consumers "automatically renewed" monthly payments and, most of all, trust. I first purchased
